Re: New Poll, do you keep or scrap MOCs for parts?

(...) I didn't vote in your poll because of the aforementioned flaws (neither of those choices fits what I do). Depending on the size and complexity of the MOC, I may or may not take it apart. I have some, like Marvin the Martian, that I've had (...) (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Looking for a LEGO-like font.....

Some I keep, but mosty the survive only for a while bacause 1) I need the pieces for something else 2) would require roo much space (and money ref 1) 3) lego is for rebuilding :-) ) Only a very few models I have made do still exist. And they go (...) (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Where did the lego's go?

In Vancouver (Canada) at the Toys R Us they put LEGO on one side of the asile and the Megablocks on the other. Of course it's someone from the LEGO who sets up the display, so they wouldn't settle with anything less. In my experience in buying used (...) (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: ozBricks Fans Websites

Yaron, the site looks fantastic, but one glaring omission hit me like a Lego brick: Where do you put mecha? Even ldraw has it's own category and much of that can't be built IRL (cool stuff though). Tony Knaak's site: (URL) has quite a few mecha and (...) (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brick Testament in Trouble?

(...) Yes, and "Oh no, these pedophiles have links to the Brick Testament!!!" Well, they probably have links to MSN.COM as well, if they're using IE. Depicting Bible stories as Brendan does, is a wonderful artistic endeavour. If we start saying, (...) (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general)

  Re: Brick Testament in Trouble?

(...) I'm not sure he actually praised the BT directly (in fact he mentioned that there are people who have a problem with it), but offered support for BPS's *creativity*. He said that TLC trusts its brand to its fans, "even BPS"-- that's not to say (...) (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.general)

Re: New Poll, do you keep or scrap MOCs for parts?

Well! I see that the meticulousness of this hobby often transfers into other areas. While I agree that the question cannot be answered with a simple yes or no, I understand it and would like to offer my comments. I've had three medium-size MOC's (...) (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)
