(...) Nicely put, Kirby! The only way to learn to build mecha is to actually sit down and do it. My starting point was to emulate Colin Gutierrez' building style and to branch out from there. My critiques range from "Wow dude that mech is totally awesome!" to the complete end of the spectrum with "Holy cow that mech is pretty friggin cool!" So you see I am a critic (...) Critiquing is kind of tricky. It takes a certain amount of maturity on both sides of the table. To paraphrase one of my mentors (warning, he wasn't the kindest of souls.
