(...) event list. Your club is not listed on the (somewhat oudated) Train Groups LUGMAP at (URL) probably missed a few others that are not listed or have changed URLs. Is the ILTCO calendar active? All I get is an "under construction" message. John (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) <snip> (...) <snip> Now, why hasn't something like this been added to the LUGNET homepage somewhere? Very informative, even though there are no activities near where I live. It gets me thinking about starting something though. Maybe other (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.suggestions)

Re: Unoffical LEGO Event Web Calendar

Ya, I noticed at least one club you forgot. Here is our event calendar: (URL) also has a calendar that is directly accessed by a Lego rep that updates the online calendar of events at Lego.com. I am keeping his name out of this post because I have (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Unoffical LEGO Event Web Calendar

I've put together a handy calendar of all upcoming LEGO®-related events I could find in North America and Europe. The web-based version is available at this URL: (URL) of Apple's iCal or other iCalendar-compatible software may subscribe via this (...)   Re: "Lego tries for girls' block vote"

(...) Confirmed :-) I have some in my collection, as I was a little girl in those days. My sister played more with it then I did. I preferred the castle sets :-) It was actually called Scala! Mine is the giant space wheel first used in black in #6989 Multi-Core Magnetizer: (URL) then rose again after over ten years to appear in gray in #10030 Star Destroyer (URL) kinda funny to me that even though we had been using these wheels as (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: "Lego tries for girls' block vote"

(...) Rant begins. The whole thing is rather silly really. I had loads of lego when I was a kid (I am a 'girl' (perhaps more of a woman now) by the way if the name had not given you a clue) and all of my friends who were girls loved it and usually (...)   Re: "Lego tries for girls' block vote"

(...) Now, I've been unable to find the catalogue on brickshelf, but I'm certain Lego did something like this in the 70s with bracelets. Is someone able to confirm this? Peter (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.mediawatch)

Are LEGO going for military models now?

After looking at the following set: (URL) would seem that LEGO are working towards building military models...This one looks rather like an attack shopper with 'radar' and SAM battery...though this could just be my seeing something that isn't (...)   "Lego tries for girls' block vote"

A clipping someone gave me from the Daily Mail, not being a reader of it myself. Original article their copyright. "Lego tries for girls' block vote" LEGO is to launch a range of pink 'design' blocks just for girls. The 70-year-old toymaker will try (...)   Re: Lego colors compared to PANTONE (TM) or HKS

  Re: Men vs. Women

(...) If you want my opinion, and I know you all were dying to hear it. :) Well, to be honest, I couldn't quite speculate as to why there are fewer female AFOL's. I, for one, looked foward to the days as a child, that my mother would move the (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Men vs. Women
