  Re: TLG investigation 1st answers

(...) Yes, this is what I was trying to get at in my request for rereleasing old sets. Because some of us, although fans for years, if not decades, *still* missed some of the sets we really wanted. This is not living in the past, this is simply (...) (26 years ago, 22-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Help with Agent?

Hi! After seeing the Outlook Express question answered so quickly and eminently, I have a new question: Is it possible, and if so, how, to include non-standard headers using Agent 1.5? It's not really lugnet related, but I was hoping some nice (...) (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Time Cruiser (6493) Question

(...) Thank you, I have never been into boats, especially pre 1900's. I probably should see if I can auction some of those off one day, I believe I bought at least one of them. I guess I should update my inventory as well. :/ So much to do, so (...) (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation 1st answers

(...) Another reason is the one that gets me into and acution. Auctions are the only way I can buy that Alpha-1 Rocket Base that was discontinued when I *started* collecting, but Saw in my Catalogs and wanted...or even to get, say the old shell (...) (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation 1st answers

(...) But not entirely. Some AFOL's might participate in auctions to be theme complete, but others also do it for the parts. Some parts are no longer available at all or in the color I want. (...) It sounds like you work where I do :) We have two (...) (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation

I inquired about bulk parts many years ago and the minimum order was 100 pieces and you had to increment in 100 pieces. The prices they quoted for common bulk bricks was extremely cheap, but specialty pieces were another matter, but considering I (...) (26 years ago, 20-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Jeroen, Please read this. You might be surprised by it.

(...) pretty much a kid, and I would like to see old sets brought back, and bulk orders made available. I mean, I know lots of kids who would love the old sets brought back, and bulk ordering. If you think that kids would rather have flashy sets (...) (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Time Cruiser (6493) Question

I bought it: in fact it was the first set I bought after my Dark Ages. (I'm sure this says something about me psychologically, but never mind!) It does have some neat stuff - I turned the ship into a rather more realistic looking cog or carrack, and (...) (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Time Cruiser (6493) Question

(...) Shrouds. But since the lego ships frequently have almost no other standing or running rigging, you might as well just call them rigging. Kevin (26 years ago, 21-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: I would like some help, please... (More Dacta in Canada)

(...) Could anyone with a scanner post it some where on the web. There is more than one AFOL in Canada that would like to see all the line of Dacta set. Martin (26 years ago, 20-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

On Sat, 20 Feb 1999 02:46:13 GMT, Tom McDonald uttered the following profundities... (...) An MT set. Say that again. That is what a set with many large, preformed, specialised pieces is! Empty! Uninspiring, lacking in design and function. (Not (...) (26 years ago, 20-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Time Cruiser (6493) Question

It is OK for parts, it has some nice starter parts if you are into boats (Pirate ships, masts, those brown rope ladder things (Name?)). The train canopy is cool, as well as the gray airplane wings, and it has some great mini-fig accessories. I got (...) (26 years ago, 20-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Time Cruiser (6493) Question

Has anyone bought the 6493 Flying Time Vessel? I saw these on a clearance for $25 the other day and while I don't care for the model, it looks like a decent source of parts. I would have bought it for $10 but couldn't justify $25. What is the (...) (26 years ago, 20-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)
