  Re: Found the bug

Ok.. remembering from vague memory, it's been a while since I played with that version.. I installed it.. it ran pretty good.. I tried the modeler.. it said I didn't have certain parts.. I go searching for the parts I needed.. meanwhile, since it (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Play "I can name that piece..."

(...) Whoa there, daddio, I had to look at almost all the pictures of those sets before I understood what pieces that is. Calling it a tile and giving it a name like 1x1 Tile, Top Compartmented, 1x1 Top, 6H (in Black) doesn't take into consideration (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Missing Posts

(...) Excellent. I've always wanted to go. Should we be expecting a full report from the Fair? Photos? (well...) Does Suzanne have 'Toy Industry Insider' or press credentials? Ever hopeful, Scott (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation

(...) You know, if they did this and coordinated it right so that the GROUP itself made a bulk purchase I think they could easily justify it costwise and effortwise. Can you imagine how many train doors and windows all of the trainheads here and on (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Play "I can name that piece..."

(...) Well, I didn't check all of them, but the piece in 6891 looks right. Thanks, Joshua. Rob (26 years ago, 5-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy.... That's it, Jacob. You nailed it. Thanks. Rob (26 years ago, 5-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation

(...) Hrmmm.... yeah, I think I would have to agree with you. Unbuilding something is always a little depressing, so piling sorting on top of that wouldn't be much fun.   Re: TLG investigation

(...) I am very excited about the possibility of Lego sponsoring special interest clubs made up of adult Lego enthusiasts. I believe that the Lego Group would be making a wise investment of their resources by listening and encouraging a large fan (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation

(...) I can just say one thing...WOW!.. Being a set designer for TLG have always been a dream job for me, and I think will be forever, too. Since I was given my first set (a 1968 universal, set# 030) in 1975, when I was just turned my 5, and when my (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation

Well I don't mind sorting BEFORE you build.. it's afterwards.. when you've built an MOC that uses 500-1000 parts.. and you're pulling it apart so you can build something else.. I just tend to get a little tired of sorting sometimes.. I just sorted a (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Firing Cannons! My S@H Phone Special order

(...) How odd. Somehow I don't think the pirates line did too well in Japan as here in the UK I can currently buy the huge islanders set - don't ask me the name or number, I cannot remember - for 20UKP in Tesco's. This is the set with two 32x32 (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: Firing Cannons! My S@H Phone Special order

I got a flagship and I suspected mine was a Japanese set since the catalog that came with it is in Japanese (at least I think it is Japanese). The canon on mine also fires and is different than the cannon on my Cross Bone Clipper (6250). I got my (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation

(...) You had _better_ have some pictures of that plane. :-) I started, and pretty much aborted, the same thing, so I really, really want to see what you came up with. Please... -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLG investigation

(...) Hrmmmm...... I don't think I'd like that. To be sure, it would be fun sometimes to not have to sort it all, but sorting is pretty fun most of the time. Call me crazy, but since I never build the models that are depicted in the instructions (I (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Firing Cannons! My S@H Phone Special order

To begin: Hooray for Shop@Home! Once again, LEGO Shop at Home delivers in less than the time they told me it would take. I got the order that I placed on Monday (Armada Flagship and Night Lord's Castle) today (Friday) - they told me it would be 'a (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)
