How odd. Somehow I don't think the pirates line did too well in Japan as here
in the UK I can currently buy the huge islanders set - don't ask me the name or
number, I cannot remember - for 20UKP in Tesco's. This is the set with two
32x32 baseplates, one of which is raised round two sides with a curved river.
This set is so large it probably cost about 50ukp originally, and yes, it also
comes with a Japanese catalogue. I now have 2 copies of this set, and they both
contained that catalogue.

| I got a flagship and I suspected mine was a Japanese set since the catalog that came with it is in Japanese (at least I think it is Japanese). The canon on mine also fires and is different than the cannon on my Cross Bone Clipper (6250). I got my (...) (26 years ago, 13-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)
