Re: How the 1998 Technic ad movies were made

Cool. Whe did these ads air? I've never seen them. -- Mark Koesel koesel@umich.edu Fredrik Glöckner <fredrik.glockner@bio.uio.no> wrote in message m3r9rwc7dj.fsf@sade.uio.no... (...) (26 years ago, 12-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Missing/malformed pieces?

I have a few mutilated technic beams that won't "lock" onto anything at all... In fact they are only good for the custom beam w/a hacksaw. Unfortunatly they were 16 stud beams in black, my favorite ones. The bigger the chasis the stronger the car. (26 years ago, 12-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

Re: $40 good deal for 8456?

$40 is worth it, my wife paid $80 at x-mass for mine. And yes... The dragster is most cool motorized w/power steering and all. Scoots around my living room real well too. Definatly get 2 if they are only $40. I would, the fiber optic and green hinge (...) (26 years ago, 12-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

How the 1998 Technic ad movies were made

This webpage shows some details from how the 1998 Technic ads were made. It's nothing much, but perhaps some of you'll find it interesting: (URL) Oh, and there's some "LEGO adventure" details as well: (URL) (26 years ago, 12-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Catalogues

Last year in the UK, we had 3 main Lego catalogues: One in January with the Adventurers on the front cover. Then in August they redesigned it and put the Insectoids on the front cover. Then in November we got a slightly different one that had the (...) (26 years ago, 12-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

I managed to get one of these at $33 from Walmoart Online when they were clearing some Lego out, and I am *SO* glad I did.
