  Old style 2X4 bricks

When did the newer style of 2X4 brick (with the "ridges" on the inside) first appear? I just bought a bag of Lego which contained a number of these and wondered how old they might be. -John Van (26 years ago, 3-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Met a LEGO rep...

This raises an interesting question. We have people from all over the world on this newsgroup and not one works for Lego? I know I'm on the net all the time to see whats going on in my field. Isn't it hard to believe that not one employee with info. (...) (26 years ago, 3-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

Re: Should RTL be hosted on this server?

(...) I'm not absolutely positive about this, but I thought only Agent could handle multiple servers with the different ini files and dirs, not Free Agent? Probably wrong, though. (26 years ago, 3-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

  Re: advent calendar greed?

(...) Nope. Most of us are just sitting here, wishing we *had* a LEGO Advent calender. :( I think I'll build one for myself. Well, for my kids. It'd be kinda boring to build one for myself. Steve (26 years ago, 3-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

Re: Should RTL be hosted on this server?

  Met a LEGO rep...

I was in Joplin, MO this AM, and stopeed in the TRU, where I met the (one of the, anyway) LEGO rep. I asked when the new sets were due, and she said, "Not until next year, sometime in January." She DID say that she was only on temp, until Christmas, (...) (26 years ago, 25-Nov-98, to lugnet.general)

  Lugnet Web news request

Todd, I have a request for the Web interface for the Lugnet newsgroups. I use the traffic page *a lot*. If there's a visited link in the past hour or past day block, then I go hit that news group.
