  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) I was so happy to have caught that expression. He held it for at least 5 seconds. What were you saying to him? The look of astonishment and disbelief he gives is priceless. (...) (...) Do you mean alternative video codecs or formats? no, sorry, just MPEG-1. (...) Trouble downloading or trouble playing? What toolset are you using? Do you have the QuickTime player? --Todd (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) I would like to re-iterate this request. This looks interesting, and I am curious - but I don't have the time to search for an appropriate mpeg player. -lenny (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) Is this available any other way? I find these very hard to work with using the toolset available to me. That's my problem of course, not yours, but I am still asking. (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: BrikWars time-lapse & photo-montage

(...) Oh, I know what you're talking about. I had this flashbulb-memory-burn-in seem to happen after that. I don't think I saw the next few seconds because I was laughing. Weird how it stands out. Also odd how some of the images appear to zoom in (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, lugnet.org.us.nelug, FTX)

  Re: Is anyone still interested?

(...) I will be in Philly on the 6th of March, but the 7th should be open. So we're looking at a Teklevel 2 or 3/4 on the 7th? Next thing is to see how many people are interested and set a rough size for armies ( and preferences for Teklevel ). I've (...) (21 years ago, 9-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Is anyone still interested?

(...) Maybe we should put it out of this month so we have plenty of time and people can build stuff, maybe the weekend of March 6-7? We could even do both days possibly and have a big one. lemme know Sean (21 years ago, 8-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: News Service

(...) All features should be on one site. I agree that if there is different stuff all over the web that there is no use in doing any of it. News, forums, chat and that kind of stuff. I’ll see what I can do about a chat room for those interested. I (...) (21 years ago, 8-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

  Re: News Service

(...) I'm all for this forum thing, but just a note- no chat for me. My parents don't allow it, and even though I could still do it without them noticing me, I still prefer not using it. I can't stay on the computer for extended periods- just long (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

  Re: News Service

(...) Well, I'm waiting for my Dad to get home so I can get his credit card number. I'm about to make a Starship chatroom for easier communication if some of us are online. If we keep the news service, we could still add the chatroom as an added (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

  Re: News Service

(...) The board does have a reply function, but I disabled it cause I thought (in my own little mind) that it should be like a real news service like a newspaper or CNN. Ill set it backup so people can see how that works. Also as I said I can add a (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

JEFF SHAW: Vote: News Service---Which one should we use?

(...) Could someone post a poll for us to vote on the matter off LUGNET? I still have not gotten posting privy, and I don't know how many others are in the game that can't post to LUGNET.   Re: News Service

(...) Hey, that's nice! Great look, easy-to-use format. I like. Just one thing--do news items have follow-ups, or do we have to bring the discussion to lugnet to discuss it? That would be my only concern. In order to be a viable venture, this new (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)
