I've got a question about the original Lego Racers CD-ROM game. I picked up a copy at TRU for $5, and it didn't really come with a detailed manual (or maps of the courses). I've recently purchased a copy of the original Racers (an opened package without a manual). I got a really good price on it, but.... I bought this on a whim on Saturday... I have to say it is quite good fun. I am into PC racing games anyway, so that probably helps, but racing through familiar LEGO landscapes being able to build your car from scratch brings makes this one (...) Unfortunately these don't work in Windows NT/2000. Had quite the email exchange with the LEGO Software people. I just don't understand why they simply don't just come out and say "I am sorry we know it will not work" or "We didn't test the software (...) Dark forest dash: It is near a sharp turn, I forget where (I found it by doing the track backwards) Pirate scull pass: Stop shooting the big scull!!! It's useless! The following are the shortcuts I know about: Imperial Grand Prix Use a cannon (red) power-up to shoot the barrels in the tunnel when you see them. I cut & pasted the map but didn't se a shortcut. For a long time I thought about shooting the dragon so it would swoop down & carry you, but if it was supposed to happen, the cannonball would target it.
