I bought this on a whim on Saturday...
I have to say it is quite good fun. I am into PC racing games anyway, so
that probably helps, but racing through familiar LEGO landscapes being able
to build your car from scratch brings makes this one particularly
interesting... The scene intros are also very well done, and sometimes quite
amusing.
My only gripe is that it's a bit sluggish! I'm not exactly running it on a
baseline spec machine, either: I'm using XP, 1Ghz Athlon and a GeForce GTS
graphics card, so it exceeds minimum spec by some way. Even at the default
graphics detail settings, and at 640x480x16 is stutters occasionally,
particularly when there are a lot of cars in the race.
Has anyone else tried it? I wonder if it would be better with Win98?
