The following are the shortcuts I know about:
Imperial Grand Prix
Use a cannon (red) power-up to shoot the barrels in
the tunnel when you see them.
Moon Magma Marathon
(from earlier appends)
Use the shield (blue) power-up behind some rocks after the
lava and before the arches. This opens a secret passage
through the mountain.
Go through the arches in the correct order and the big
transparent dome opens a shortcut. Despite previous
appends, I'm still not sure how to determine the order.
Desert Adventure Dragway
Use a cannon (red) power-up to shoot at the temple which
removes a wall hiding a shortcut.
Tribal Island Trail
There is a shortcut to left right before the alligators.
There is also a hidden shortcut to the left just inside
the tunnel--very hard to find.
Royal Knights Raceway
There is a shortcut through the wall on the right just
before the waterfall. There is a power plus (white)
brick in front of it.
Ice Planet Pathway
This is the most obvious shortcut. Around the corner
after the first tunnel you should see a ramp in the
mountain.
Amazon Adventure Alley
A tree points the way under to a shortcut under the
waterfall.
Rocket Racer
Use a cannon (red) power-up to shoot the door where
the course splits. The door opens a Warp Turbo Boost
shortcut.
I do not know the shortcuts for the following courses:
Dark Forest Dash
Alien Rally Asteroid
Adventure Temple Trail
Pirate Skull Pass
Knightmare-athon
If anyone knows how open shortcuts for these or any I missed,
please post them.

| Dark forest dash: It is near a sharp turn, I forget where (I found it by doing the track backwards) Pirate scull pass: Stop shooting the big scull!!! It's useless! Simular shortcut as Tribal island trail. Behind rock over some sand. Alien rally (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jul-00, to lugnet.games.lego.racers)
