Fiddling around with the FTX stuff today, here's what I came up with: (URL) to Richard Franks who suggested this long ago :-) The only problem I had was with the bulleted list... it didn't seem to work. Hey, you could always take the color in question down to your local hardware or paint store and ask them to stick it into their computerized color matcher, that would be about as accurate as you can get using today's technology!! (...) Not really; there's reflective components to colour as well, although I'd imagine that Lego, being made of a single type of plastic for the most part, is fairly consistent in this respect. (...) sure (...) Well, your sweetie knows more about this than I do, but my understanding is that if you want really really precise matches, only a sample of the actual thing in question will do. (...) I appreciate the low useage of Javascript on Lugnet. At work, I use Netscape 3.01, and if I don't disable Javascript, it crashes on a regular basis. Also, many people disable Javascript for security reasons. Fortunately for a site like Lugnet, (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.faq)

(...) No, I just don't trust it completely, and I hate to rely on it. I do like it, and I use it frequently, and there are even places[1] on LUGNET which make use of it. I think JavaScript is a great way to enhance a page after the base- (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.faq)
