  Re: French Bread?

3708 Rufus Rabbit came with 2. Might have come with other individual figs but this is the only one I know of off the top of my head. I'm no Fabuland expert though. Doug (...) along (...) the (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: French Bread?

(...) Yes, they do. Belville (light yellow) and Scala (darker, crusty) including at least one smaller set and service pack. Here are some examples: (URL) McC/ (25 years ago, 5-Jan-00, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: What is Fabuland?

(...) Yep. That's reasonable - my cousin has a cat, a mouse, and a sailor/walrus. The fabuland accesories are great - that same cousin, having lost interest in lego, gave me a REFRIDGERATOR full of food, a sink, and more cool stuff. -Shiri (25 years ago, 10-Dec-99, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: Fabuland returns for 2000!

(...) Does anybody know where I can find pictures of them ? I couldn't find them at Huw Millington's page and I read a post of him that he removed some pictures, which might be the Mickey mouse pictures. Otherwise, can somebody tell how the cars and (...)   Fabuland returns for 2000!

Okay, so it is Mickey Mouse and Minnie characters instead of bears and racoons, but, for all of those Fabuland fans out there, it's back! (25 years ago, 5-Dec-99, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: BusyTown?

(...) <snip> isn't it funny how once you notice something you start seeing it everywhere? I saw a BRIO display and a brochure that showed Richard Scary's Busytown for BRIO. I guess Lego missed out on licensing (if, indeed, they ever considered it). (...) (25 years ago, 30-Nov-99, to lugnet.fabuland)

(...) it has houses, police stations, amusement parks, cars, etc. So it's sorta town. (...) Almost minifig scale. Fabuland figures are little huminoids with animal heads.   Re: What is Fabuland?

(...) Wow, I haven't heard of FabuLand in a looooong time. Back in the early '80s, There was LegoLand (Castle, Town and Space), Duplo and FabuLand (for kids too small for LegoLand, but too big for Duplo). The sets featured a lot of large bricks (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.fabuland)

  What is Fabuland?

The subject says it all. Is it some sort of town-lego? Is it minifig scale or sometnig else? Since a Fabuland showel is included in the biggest model team truck, I guess it´s not minifig scale. --Tobias (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: BusyTown?

(...) I never saw the Richard Scarry books or Busytown until today. Busytown looks an *awfully* lot like Fabuland. The book also has an educational as well as a whimsical feel to it - much like Lego itself. I wouldn't be surprised if this is where (...) (25 years ago, 5-Nov-99, to lugnet.fabuland)

  BusyTown?

What do you think? If there were a Fabuland again today, would it mean Richard Scary licencing? Would that be as cool as the original?... they're similar in many ways. I've been dreaming of modeling Busytown for years now. I love those buildings. (...) (25 years ago, 5-Nov-99, to lugnet.fabuland)
