LAX to Legoland is definitely twice as far to Legoland than John Wayne
Airport (a.k.a. Orange County, or SNA). Plan on the trip taking at least 1
hr from Orange County Airport and probably a minimum of 2 hours from LAX,
again, this will depend on time of day, traffic and weather.
Unfortunately, the urban planners in California don't think of putting rail
service right up to the airports, nor does the train stop at Legoland, but
about a mile away, so you will have to take other forms of transit, such as
bus or taxi, to get from either airport to a train station. Check out this
post by Adrian Egli who is VERY familiar with the mass transit of Los
Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties and how to arrange a way to get
