  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) Clearly, it's not that easy. Or, this discussion would not be taking place. For John and his son, the best place for BrickFest is DC. For me, it would be Indy. My son(s) don't yet have an opinion, because they haven't yet made the ten hour (...) (18 years ago, 14-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) Snip I disagree. This has already happened. It's called NWBrickCon. You might of heard of it. We're into 5 years of fest activities now. About a year or so shy of BrickFest. Now there was a one time spin off of BF-PDX. Which, from my (...) (18 years ago, 14-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) I don't think having more than one BrickFest is a viable option. We need one event to plan and pool our time and resources into, and if we begin to splinter into "The DC BrickFest", "The Midwest BrickFest", and the "West Coast BrickFest", the (...)   Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) Oh, I so hope the discussion can be, "in addition to Washington", instead of "instead of Washington". I've attended BrickFest with my son, 8 years old, as a member of the public for the last 3 years. I think you should not underestimate the (...) If you're going to go to the trouble of using the dictionary on one word at least take the time to use it on those preceeding (...)   Re: A Bricklink Brickfest store?

(...) Thomas- The Terms of Service for BrickLink limit sellers to LEGO branded product. People do sell other stuff, but it could get sticky. -Ted (18 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) OK, make that BF 04 (DC and PDX), 05, and 06. -Ted (18 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

Atlanta would make sense, as it has a local club, a local store, Six Flags for other family members, a hub airport, and many other things to do. I'm sure it has plenty of space for a convention somewhere, considering the above. (...) (18 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest 2007 location

(...) If you travel to BrickFest by airplane, Washington D.C. is a very good destination. Fares are generally cheaper to D.C. than to other cities. They certainly are cheaper from California to D.C. than to New York or Boston or even Indianapolis. (...) (18 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

(...) It is no different than our toilets flushing in the opposite direction. We like to pay our money first, then find out what we spent it on. ;) Jude (18 years ago, 13-Sep-06, to lugnet.events, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)
