This sounds great, fabulous opportunity for LUGNET!!
> * What's the attraction? Why do people show up?
There's a great sense of community, there's as much info as you need, there's
inspiration, it's a place to share your creations and to see other people's
creations. There are very friendly people, who are fun yet level-headed, and
make you feel at home.
> * Why do more people stay than leave?
The friendly people. The variety of interests, and the fact that there's
always something to do or someone to talk to. The feeling that you belong.
> * What do people get out of LUGNET and their online experiences?
Inspiration, encouragement, information, market possibilities, friends.
> * What are the best 3 things about LUGNET?
1. The people + sense of community
2. The diversity, together with the one common interest (LEGO, of course)
3. The ability to share your creations and to see other people's
> * What are the best 10 things about LUGNET?
4. The commitment that Todd and Suz put forth, and are working hard every day
for our benefit
5. The information
6. The awesome satisfaction that you get when you post your creations and get
positive feedback as well as suggestions and ideas for improvement
7. The various groups for specific topics
8. The market
9. The off-topic groups
10. The membership pages
> * Why should anyone who's never heard of LUGNET check it out?
Because it's a great place to meet people, to have fun and/or get involved in
serious discussions, and to get inspired.
> * Why was LUGNET created?
Well, you should tell us that, Todd, but let's say in order to give LEGO fans
everywhere a place to get together and discuss what interests us most.
> * Why do people organize unofficial LEGO events?
Because there aren't enough official ones. Because they're fun. They give you
a chance to meet actual people and to really see real creations (as opposed to
virtually see real creations or to see virtual creations (LDraw etc.)).
> * Why do people form and join LEGO user groups and clubs?
In order to meet actual people. To have fun.
> * Why do people want to talk to other people about LEGO?
Because non-fans just don't get it.
> * What are people missing if they never go online?
A heck of a lot.
