Actually, Chicago has had a brick event for the past two years. It's called "House of Bricks" and while it isn't as highly attended as Brickfest, those who have gone have had a good time by all reports. I was involved in HoB1, but not Hob2. HoB (...) We need one event to plan and pool our time and resources into, and if we begin to splinter into "The DC BrickFest", "The Midwest BrickFest", and the "West Coast BrickFest", the (...) (...) If you travel to BrickFest by airplane, Washington D.C. is a very good destination. Fares are generally cheaper to D.C. than to other cities.
