| | Duplo Recycling Truck Set ID?
|

I recently obtained a huge tub of Duplo pieces from a yard sale which included some random non-basic brick pieces. One of these was a green recycling truck. Does anyone know which set(s) this came from? I'm also interested in knowing which of the (...) (24 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.duplo)

I am working on a project for a local daycare constructing a donor listing board using duplo blocks. I am using 2x4 duplo blocks and have found individual blocks available in qtys. of 50 in colors of green, red, gray, black and white. Cannot find (...) (24 years ago, 27-Apr-01, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) Welcome to Duplo! Thanks - if I had put the .com after "brickshelf" I'm sure that would have worked better :-) Anyway. I'm pretty sure it is indeed 2770, although I don't have any of the furniture or other pieces except the TV aerial! Too bad, (...) (24 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) I think you're right about set 2770. I have a mostly complete one with no box-- found out what it was when Jason Briscoe put one up on eBay last year. He may know something about the set. (URL) C. (24 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) Wow, I can't see your photos yet, but you might have some of this: (URL) (a jammin' set IMHO) Maybe some of this? (URL) think it has to be more than one set, from your description. -Suz (24 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.duplo)

Another question. In my recently acquired Duplo grab bag there were some REALLY big house or building pieces: walls 1x11x6, with pocket doors that click open and shut, and roof pieces 1x11x4. Yellow with red roofs and brown doors. There were (...) (24 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) there (...) Thanks much. It is a nice set... missing the tipper car but that's not important to my 3-year-old. It was a grab bag with a great big baseplate, the train, a <set:2629>, some big building pieces (see next post) and a giant pile of (...) (24 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.duplo)

(...) Hi Heather, Per Carl Watson's post here: (URL) any new-style track should be fine with the old engine and carriages. I don't think the old track works especially well with new track or battery engines, but I might be wrong. Cute little set too (...) (24 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.duplo)

Hi folks, I was wondering if all Duplo trains ran on the same type of track, or if there are differences like big-kid Lego trains. I got a great deal on a used <set:2701> a little while ago, and am wondering if any track I buy will fit it or if I (...) (24 years ago, 17-Apr-01, to lugnet.duplo)
