 Dear LEGO / 4287 (-20)
Ad email from Shop at home... a little confused

I just received email from S@H beginning.. "Hi Kevin, Be jewelled...be dazzled...be a CLIKITS™ Girl! " What are they thinking? Did *every* s@H customer or Lego Club member get this? Or am I just especially honored? :-) Kevin ---...--- Shopping Mall (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Confused .... ??

(...) I did a quick search, but didn't find anything. That, of course, doesn't mean it hasn't been mentioned. However, I did find the pic I was thinking of: (URL) only does this model contain the logo.... it IS the logo. :) Apologies to John. I'm (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Confused .... ??

I had thought I'd read, right here on lugnet, that pictures which depicted the Lego logo were not permitted on Brickshelf. Perhaps I'm wrong, in which case please forgive for bring the subject up. best JB (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Confused .... ??

(...) Interesting. Although I really wish they'd get back to putting more printed LEGO logo bricks in sets, like the old LEGOland series had. The only recent one I know of it the Yoda set, which uses one in the back. (...) I'm not sure why that (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Confused .... ??

I just bought a couple of 3420 sets - they are 60% off at TRU here in Utica, NY. So cost per piece is good even though there are somne highly specialised pieces I'm unlikely to find a use for. My question, however, is; Why are there little (...) (21 years ago, 19-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Lego Helps Hospitalized Child

Dear Lego, While out at a social gathering I met someone that told me a touching story and I thought I'd share it with you folks. As an Artist, I often goto shows and events to help continue to make new contacts and network with other local Artists. (...) (...) 10. :) (...) I know he was Sam Sinister in the Egypt series, but the Jungle series he was Sanister, the dino place I dunno, and the Mt. Everest or whatever it's Sinister.   Re: 10027 Engine Shed

(...) Oh, I forgot: It is a stricktly 6 wide shed, well maybe 7. But watch out for your tube-light when you bring in the Super Chief!!! Jeroen (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

  10027 Engine Shed

Hi all, For those of all who didn't already ordered the Engine Shed, please do. I haven't had so much fun building a Lego Model since the yellow trainstation or the harbour with container-crane. You all have seen the preview pics and the box art, (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: All your typo are belong to us?

(...) He definitely was an Infomaniac. I hope they didn't cave into some kind of pressure and change his name because when you say it aloud it sounds like... wait, how old did you say you were? :-) A typo that stuck was the infamous Sam Sanister. I (...) (21 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: All your typo are belong to us?

(...) ...Or maybe they just changed his name, 'cause according to set 2181 ((URL) and LEGO Island (not sure about LEGO Island 2...) his name is the Infomaniac... (no R) (...) Hi. Matt C. (21 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: All your typo are belong to us?

(...) What typos? "Informaniac"? This is not necessarily a typo, but possibly a pun: inform, "inform-maniac". If I'm missing something, let me know! :) Mike (21 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: WHY?!?!?!

(...) I seem to recall raising this point about a year ago, but with worse results then you'll ever get. (note, there was a lot of vitriol into my message, so no surprise.) Here's the logic behind your question. In order to raise a profit, like any (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: WHY?!?!?!

(...) Oh. I never really thought about that. I've seen many auctions for 6979 MISB that ended $12-36 USD. Too bad they were all from Europe and I didn't wanna have to pay the expensive shipping costs. Anyway, I still don't know about juniorization (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: All your typo are belong to us?

Hey I found two typos in a 2002 Summer S@H advertisement for 6740 Xtreme Tower -- this is what it said: Xtreme stunts start here! The Xtreme Tower is the center of the action on LEGO Island. While Sky practices her skateboard tricks on the railings, (...) (21 years ago, 10-May-03, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.dear-lego)
