This one time, at space camp...  :)

Well, I do have a fondness for certain specific sets of the past (the
Futuron Stardefender, the SP1 PeaceKeeper, the Classic X-1 Patrol Craft, and
most of the BT1 series).  However, since I became more involved in Lugnet
and the online FOL community, I have found myself increasingly inspired to
build MOCs.  More and more of what I have on display at home is of my own
design and more and more of my official TLC sets are being dismantled for
material to build my own.

That said, what I would really like to see for Space right now would be some
bulk and spare part sets that offer elements for space construction
(canopies, wings, click hinges, antennae, computers, thrusters, dome walls,
etc. etc.).

None of us know for sure what the SW contract says or whether it really does
demand no other space sets (as is now common belief).  But I would guess
that maybe a bulk set of spare space parts, if not labeled specifically
"space" might actually be a loophole, maybe.  I dunno.  I can hope.  If not,
then maybe a spare parts set for SW elements (which can be used in other
space MOCs) might be something to wish for.

Also, if and when TLC does produce new Space sets, as much as I would like
certain Legends from the past, I am increasingly leaning toward the camp
that says a whole new 'generic' space line would be even better.  (By
'generic' I mean a sub-theme with very little pre-determined plot that
children could imagine any space story with and adults could supplement
existing collections with (i.e. no Star Wars or other such ready-made stories).

My 2 Bricks,
-Hendo
