It would be great to see some of the old space sets brought back as
legends. I know I'd buy them.
I actually started on a small project last night, where I'm taking the
6781 SP Striker from the Space Police Set and updating it with some new
parts and color ideas. (Unfortunately, I don't think the light pieces work
anymore, as they've been used hard during my youth.) ;D Not really the best
idea from a purist's view, perhaps, but I'm hoping it will be the first of
several updated versions of older sets I attempt, in addition to my
moonbase, which is underway. (Waiting on shipments from BrickLink)

| Lets face some facts: 1.we cant get classic space helmets and 2.TLC/LD isnt going to be dumb enough to do classic space with new figs and/or new-type helments (it would look ugly, I tried to put some futuron figs in my Walking Astro Grappeler and it (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)
