 Dear LEGO / 4130
Color problems with label on 4107 tub —Allan Bedford
Has anyone else noticed this problem? Last night I purchased two 4107 assorted Creator tubs. The label on the side of the tub shows a breakdown of what quantity of each part you're getting and in what color. Now, if you're standing in line at the (...)      This is what is called "quibbling" over 4107. So it has a bad printing job. They are all regular Lego colors - except maybe tan (which some people thought would be the Lego Island light yellow.) I'm surprised you didn't analyze the Lego assortment (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) Then it speaks to a lack of quality control within the company. If I was the owner, I'd sure want to know. It means I'm either not getting my money's worth when I contract out or I'm not getting quality out of my own employees. Either way, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Allan Bedford wrote in message ... (...) Actually, I disagree. Out of the 1000 pieces in this tub, more than 300 are 1x1 bricks. That's waaaay out of proportion! Although I am happy to have my 1x1 supply replenished after last year's complete lack (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) bricks in the current bucket and tubs. I think they did this so the price per part would be similar to that of previous tubs and buckets but they are actually giving us considerably less ABS. The part selection is weighted far to heavily in (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Color problems with label on 4107 tub —Benjamin Medinets
(...) Actually, I think I agree with Alan on this one. There are those who wanted bulk packs of 1x1 and 1x2 bricks from Shop @ Home. You can get the 1x4, 1x6, and 1x8 from there. This is a good way to stock up with the smaller sized bricks without (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Color problems with label on 4107 tub —Dave Schuler
(...) But the problem is that the 4107 has been touted and hailed as a great general source of bulk bricks, which it certainly is not. If LEGO wants to offer 1x1's and 1x2's in a retail bulk bucket, let them do so. They shouldn't pretend that (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

Re: Color problems with label on 4107 tub —Erik Olson
Who besides us buys more than one of a tub? Remember that line: "But you already got that one, how about this one instead? Look, it has different pieces." 4107 is a great parts pack. If it takes about one of them to satisfy most AFOLs need for those (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)

(...) <SNIP> As you see, Lego does make 1x1 bricks, so why aren't they available through Shop At Home (Bulk Bricks) ?????? Regards, Ludo (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.general)
