Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

(...) Is this new? Mine didn't come with extra heads or hair. But I got mine (well, Nik's) from ZB the first day it was offered.... If it IS new that would explain why it was an extra back Maybe I need to call CA when I am back stateside and try to (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.town)

Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

(...) It has 2 gail storm heads and 4 lipstick w/eyelashes heads. 2 red ponly tails, 2 brown pony tails, 2 black pony tails, 2 brown shoulder length hair, 2 black shoulder length hair. I'd easily pay $2 for this bag all by itself (though $1.60 would (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: wild west creations

(...) I'm not sure if this post was in jest or a serious sarcastic remark. I hope it was a light hearted joke. Some of us still put stock by our southern roots. To some, redneck is a term of pride, that while it is great to chuckle at some of the (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: wild west creations

(...) Oh yes... Dear Lego, Please spin off an American Civil War theme from the Western them. Be sure to include a minifig pack with the rebels carrying their flag. That way I could get a bunch of flags to hang in my redneck minifigs' front yards. (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

(...) Any chance of a scan, Frank. Piece count? Is that six babes, or what? More? I hadn't really considered buying that large soccer set, but is it really cool or something? [Whoa! I just noticed that 3402 is not just a detail of the larger set, (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

(...) Thanks! That answers my chef's hat question too. I could do without the helmets though. (...) Yeah, I'm tired of wearing helmets and hats all of the time. Ben Roller (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

(...) <set:5393> (I remember the number by heart by now...) Still available from S@H, last time I checked. Just don't buy them all! ;-) (...) Agreed - and make them in all colors... (if they made one in tan, i could finally make "me") -Shiri -- I'll (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

(...) Female heads (Lego ones) are always something that I'd buy. Speaking of, what's the best way to get the long straight-hair piece? I need around 10. Dear Lego, Please make pony tail hair pieces suitable for male minifigs. The Qui-Gon figure was (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

(...) There are bodies there -- AND extra heads. (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

Why do they have a bag of heads with no bodies in the soccer set? It would be more useful if they were full minifigs. (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

(...) I would! -Shiri -- I'll be on vacation between July 15th and the end of August... please forgive slow replies to emails/posts. (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Please sell the "girls" accessory bag from 3409 seperately

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned it, but I was just thinking, it would be REAL nice if they would sell the bag of female heads and wigs from the new soccer set separately. It's already a separate bag. Just throw a LEGO Direct set number on (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Lego has gotten 'CHEAP'?

(...) It started in 1997. It is known here as "juniorizing," and everyone here hates it. It is thought it started because kids started to get lazy, and wanted something they could play with sooner than a decent set. We here are hoping it will not go (...)   Re: Re - Realease Old Themes?

(...) Not paying attention, that's all. Here is a proof for you: 1. You design better sets than TLC does. 2. I design better sets than you do. 3. Therefore, by transitive closure, I design better sets than TLC. QED :=) (this german keyboard is (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.trains)

  Lego has gotten 'CHEAP'?

I has been my experience that TLC, of late, has gotten cheap. I recently bought 6464, among other newer Town sets, and found that TLC no longer, or rarely, uses the 1x3 doors for the vehicles (PartsRef 3821 3822). This is upsetting, as my minifigs (...) (...) Uhhhhhh, me? If I found some laying around for $150 or less MISB, I sure would add to the 5 I have ;-) (...)   Re: Re - Realease Old Themes?

(...) I've got 5 or 6 (I forget, exactly) already. Who needs more than that? Just sell me the doors and windows and wagon plates and slopes in bulk and I'm fine. Sure, a rereleased metroliner at 150 USD would be nice. But I'd rather see better NEW (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.trains)

Re: Does Lego replace broken parts?

(...) Assuming you're in the US, try 1-800 GAB LEGO ... if they aren't it, they know the number. Ask for Consumer Affairs. Hope that helps. ++Lar (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
