  Re: Idea for new theme

Aside from the action possibilities, an 'Ancient Egypt' theme would make Ancient something besides a fan-created theme. Yes, if you aren't aware, check out (URL) nobody was happy enough with their pyramid to put it in there. (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Idea for new theme

(...) OOOOHHH!! James I like the way you think!!. Now there's a theme with room for expansion. Nile barges, pyramids with secret openings, mummies that you can unwrap and rewrap. I hope Lego is paying attention. (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Idea for new theme

I think that lego should releise a new theme involving egypt without the adventurers. The theme could have high preists and egyptian queens. it would have lots of new buildings. Then you could take the hats off the minifigs and put them on (...) (24 years ago, 24-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: I want ships

(...) Don't we all, Corrine. It's too bad the the Armada subtheme didn't have more legs. A 16-wide Blue and white ship would have given the Armada a little weight, as would a nice coastal seaport, or a fort of some kind. Of the Armada sets that did (...)   Re: Crosspost from rec.toys.lego on military Lego

fifteen or twenty years ago when tente was still around, they made a great wwII tank with rubber treads. The only thing missing were posable minifigures. I would buy one in a second. The only line I can even barely imagine Lego coming out with would (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Crosspost from rec.toys.lego on military Lego

(...) I would be interested in military, though SWAT might be a good excuse to start into the military weaponry as for some reason Lego is offended by war toys or something like that. It is kind of nuts, because pirates and medival knights are not (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Why not License Scooby Doo?

(...) And the theme itself would do very well with the stoner crowd. Talk about smoke-contaminated Lego! Besides which, I can't see simultaneous licensing for both Disney *and* Hanna Barbera! Dave! (24 years ago, 14-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Why not License Scooby Doo?

Last year Lego had some arrangment with Scooby Doo for a contest. Why not license Scooby Doo? It could be part of a Halloween promotion or part of a Haunted House series... or even in conjunction with one of the new Scooby movies. I think that a (...)   Re: Dear lego, please liscence the film galdiators

Re: Product Sugesstion : Lego(R) Dinosaurs

I had included them in case anyone at Lego(R) wanted to get back to (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Dear lego, please liscence the film galdiators

(...) Set (...) I for one would snap up as many sets as I could with column capitals. It's definately something that nearly every town and city has; Greco-Roman architecture. It makes for a nice touch. Though I'm satisfied with the solution that I (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

I'm not certain how well it did, but I've got all the sets. (...) Rich -- Have (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Dear lego, please liscence the film galdiators

(...) As someone who loves the Greco-Roman theme, I mentioned a few months ago a Classics Architectural set of about 2000 pieces that would be great for TLC to come up with. Many of you may have seen a set of wooden blocks in the classic style that (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Specialty Minifig Packs

i dont know if anyone has bought this up here yet but i think that there should be specialty minifig packs like from comic books or just books... they could be compatible with every theme... such as if they made a super man one with super man you (...)   Re: What's going on in this group?

(...) Well, this is a very on-a-whim group... very random, not so much continuing discussions as most groups. So I guess when people run out of new things to say here they just don't write anything (unlike other groups in which if there's nothing to (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Mindstorms for Macs?

(...) Dear Lego, Many of us have been waiting for this item. Unfortunately, only a select few of us are making our voices heard loud enough for anyone to do something about it. I offered to beta test this product more than 20 months ago. Hopefully, (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Mindstorms for Macs?

Dear Lego, I have watched, waited and still the only place to find Mac compatable LEGO® software is Dacta. At the recent Macworld show they displayed Mindstorms® on the new macs. Are there any plans to release this software to the general public, (...) (24 years ago, 1-Jun-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
