As someone who loves the Greco-Roman theme, I mentioned a few months ago a
Classics Architectural set of about 2000 pieces that would be great for TLC to
come up with.  Many of you may have seen a set of wooden blocks in the classic
style that were meant for adults, sort of for an "executive's waiting room".
Well this set could be geared to both AFOLs and an executives toy.

And the great thing about classical architecture is that it fits so well into
several different settings.  Not only for a gladiator type theme, but  Town as
well.  If you have any doubts, check out my Acropolis Contest entry (LEGO
Museum)  from the above mentioned website:

Besides a large number of 2x2 white cylinders, a large number of low sloped
white and gray roofs, and a lot of tiles, a new large Classical Architecture • Set
could include a few new items (never before produced) such as Doric, Ionic,
Corinthian, Composite, and Egyptian capitals for the top of the 2x2 white
columns.  After seeing some of the intricate pieces that are produced for
Bellville and Fabuland, I think that 2x2 cylindrical column tops would be a
great new addition for LEGO.

I for one would snap up as many sets as I could with column capitals. It's
definately something that nearly every town and city has; Greco-Roman
architecture. It makes for a nice touch. Though I'm satisfied with the
solution that I came up with in my own entry to the contest, some variation
would be nice. Unfortunately, the only answer to that is either piece
modification, or TLC creation.

I hope that they will be well designed peices at a reasonable size.
Not hdeous <Seethe><fume> juniorized, spudded or pooped peices.
