  Question on 8277 Inventory
 
I have a quick question on how to inventory set 8277, the Giant Model Set. Since the set contains a sub-box should the pieces in this box be inventoried seperately from the rest of the box? If so, what should designate these pieces as still coming (...) (25 years ago, 17-Nov-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

I ran into that problem too, and the solution I came up with looks like this: 7171 Names: Mos Espa Podrace Inventory: by "John Cromer" <cro@astro.caltech.edu> Count Color ---ID--- Description 1 n/a 7171-sa1 Subassembly box, Anakin's Podracer (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

I pretty much follow the "hints" found on Todd's LUGNET inventory page: (URL) Number #8 If they are boxed separately, I inventory them separately, but in general, I don't keep track of individual bag contents. (Haven't been posting much lately for a (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.db.inv)

(...) I'd rather have the inventory listings, without the numbers, than not have the listings at all. Anyone who is going to use other people's inventory lists is going to quickly get used to having to translate heavily. I was working on an (...) (25 years ago, 24-Nov-99, to lugnet.db.inv)
