I just got 3148, Carla's Winter Camp today! Thanks, I thought about the possibility of that set being in there, but there doesn't seem to be any of the specialised chassis plates or sloped bricks. (...) Benjamin, check the numbers 'O' and '3'. Are they slightly italic? I seem to remember getting this set and there is a difference in the typeface. Also, if you had evidence of white framed classic windows you might also have parts for a London (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.db.inv)

(...) Huh! I've never seen set 4291 in stores or anything-- I actually knew the other two (from 6079) but the ones with the tan painting were the ones I was curious about... (...) I (...) I think you mean 6079. If you look carefully at the lake, it's actually raised to be just above the level of the inside raised part on the 6079 baseplate. Of course the 4291 doesn't have that raised section. Frank (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.db.inv)
