I just got 3148, Carla's Winter Camp today!
Using the color chart at: http://www.baseplate.com/colors/
This includes:
2 2x12x8 Blue-Green+1 Scala walls
1 2x2x8 Blue-Green+1 Scala pillar
1 2x8x8 Blue-Green+0 Scala divider with diamond hole
1 22x44 while Scala baseplate (not a floor, a baseplate, note that Scala baseplates are designed so they are actually a full plate
thick, but are still vacuum formed)
1 22x22x8.3 (approx.) irregular shaped vacuum formed cave (no studs, has indentation for 8x8 brick roof and a 2x2 brick).
1 Orange-2 (brown) bear cub (named "Ludo" according to the box)
1 Orange-1 (lt brown) bear cub (named "Luna" according to the box)
(the bear cubs are about as long as the Arctic polar bear, and about as tall, but are almost 5 studs wide instead of two, there is
no articulation and no tubes, the only connectivity is that a rod can be held in their mouth, they can stand or sit on their fanny)
1 white 8x8 brick
1 Blue-Green+1 6x6 plate
tons of the new 1x1x.6 "buttons" in Green, Blue-Green+0, Blue-Green+1, white, and orange.
tons of 1x1x.3 "buttons" in trans light blue, clear, Blue-Violet, red, and white (this is a new part which has a tube bottom like a
1x1 round plate, but instead of a plate surface, has a 4 lobed flower shape like the base of the 1x1x.6 "buttons", the stud is a
hollow stud, and there is a tiny hole through (would be hard to use but looks to be the size of the pin hole for plumes etc))
1 light grey Fabuland shovel
2 yellow 2x19 skis (new? has one embedded, stud which will only hold a 1x1 round plate or cylinder, and two hollow studs,
interestingly, the imbedded stud is labeled "LEGO" not "SCALA")
1 Orange 3x6 tile with 1x4 stud pattern in center
1 magenta (the new color I mentioned in the other new Scala set) 3x6x8 Scala bookcase
1 magenta 3x6x4 or so Scala shelf
1 magenta 1x6x8 Scala picture frame with clear cover
5 White 2x2x2.3 Scala foam holders (as described in the earlier set)
7 trans green 1x1 cylinders
1 trans purple magnifying glass
1 silver 1x1x2 straight tube w/stud on top (like used in Model Team trucks for exhaust pipes)
1 yellow huge bucket
2 light yellow (cream) 2x2 radar dishes
2 red whip antennas
1 grey 2x2 brick
1 black 2x2 Scala CD Player/Radio
1 brown 2x2x2 stand (used in System as landing legs, small tables, etc)
1 red Scala wireless phone
1 black 2x2 round plate
1 light grey 2x2 round tile
1 orange 2x2 brick
1 orange 2x2x2 domed brick w/center stud on top
2 tan (possibly Yellow-Orange+1) sausages
1 yellow 3x3 Scala dish
1 white loudhailer
2 trans red 1x1 round plate
2 trans orange 1x1 round plate
1 10 stud long string w/end studs
1 40 stud long string w/end studs
1 orange 2x8x1.6 Scala plate w/2 tubes on bottom (like a little bench)
1 Blue-Green+1 clothespin w/studs (new?)
1 Orange clothespin w/studs
1 Red Scala pot w/handle
1 white 1x1 tile w/top clip
1 white faucet
2 Blue-Green+1 Scala ski poles
1 bluish set of Scala bottles
2 white 2x2 round bases
2 white poles (approx 11 studs long, thicker than a rod)
a ton of foam pieces in Blue-Green+0, Green+0, white, and orange
a bunch of small yellow rubber bands
1 Blue-Green+1 2x24x.3 rubber piece w/Scala stud shapes
1 sheet of stickers
1 green thin flex tube
1 dark skinned "Carla" doll
1 backpack
1 set of cloth mittens
1 fabric blanket
1 yellow Scala coffee cup
I probably missed a piece or two (and didn't count the buttons in any case).
This set is pretty interesting. A large blue-green piece of foam rubber is used to make a lean-to shelter, which has a few walls.
The 2x2x2.3 foam holders are used to hold this foam piece, and a white foam piece which represents a snow bank. The green flex tube
is used with trans-green cylinders, blue-green+0 1x1x.6 buttons, the brown stand, and foam pieces to make a decent looking pine
tree. A white foam piece with a hole in the center is placed over the blue-green+1 6x6 plate to represent a hole in the ice over a
pond. An orange foam flag is hung from a red whip antenna and has stickers to go on it to warn of the hole. The white 8x8 brick
forms the roof of a small cave using the vacuum formed cave piece. One of the bear cubs can fit in the cave. The pine tree goes on
the roof of the cave along with some other decorations. The orange 1x1 round and 1x1x2 round domed piece make a fuel bottle for a
camp stove, which is connected to the burner by the short string, the burner being made of the black 2x2 round plate and the light
grey 2x2 round tile (with a sticker). A sleeping pad is made from another large piece of foam. A sandwich is made from 2 pieces of
foam, 1 1x1x.6 button, and the two cream colored radar dishes. The loud hailer is used as a flash light (with a trans orange 1x1
round plate for the light).
This set actually has a pretty high portion of parts which could be used in system creations. Carla is really the only item which
couldn't be used at all, though it may be hard to use the Scala wall and furniture pieces (though I have some ideas for using those
2x2x8 columns, I just wish I had more in white).
The new foam system really holds some promise, I wonder if we'll ever see it in a System set?
