(...) Huh! I've never seen set 4291 in stores or anything-- I actually knew the other two (from 6079) but the ones with the tan painting were the ones I was curious about... I notice there's only one on Ebay at present but it's on auction from (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.general)

Well, I had been trying to keep quiet about this, BUT..... I'm currently working [in what little spare time I get] with Wayne Hussey [and with help from several sources] to put together something similar to what you're after, and will possibly (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

(...) I (...) I think you mean 6079. If you look carefully at the lake, it's actually raised to be just above the level of the inside raised part on the 6079 baseplate. Of course the 4291 doesn't have that raised section. Frank (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

(...) I'll add these - thanks. I do have to do a rehash of the roadplate page. I don't have 6584 myself, so I'll add it to the list of scans I need. (...) I've put all alone on the "Canyon with No Raised Corner" page. I have several of these, but no (...) (24 years ago, 24-Aug-00, to lugnet.db.inv)

(...) Actually, the 315 Taxi from 1965 had 'O' and '3' bricks on the front as well...Any chance that this is a variation of that set? Benjamin, I believe (and I'm only 95% sure on this one) that the ONLY sets that had the 1x1 white numbers and letters were the parts packs (planpacks in UK). The numbers are (letters/numbers) 234/237(late 50's-early 60's), 487/488 (mid 60's) , (...) (24 years ago, 23-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.db.inv)
