Re: Something for everyone at the South Coast LegoFest - SCLF 2001

(...) Speaking of this, could people please set followups to the group appropriate for the MOCs you are discussing? Discussion of Star Wars MOCs don't belong in most of the groups this is posted to.   Re: Lego Web page

(...) Personnally, I think it is one of the better websites. Not for its design, but for the creations in it. I just went through almost all of the major buildings and they all look great. One question, how did you make the little gargoyles (sp?) (...) (23 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle)

Guys, *guys*.... please keep this out of all the theme groups. I for one don't enjoy wading thru tons of un-castle-related posts. Even the way-back post, was about SW, and this is posted in every theme group *but* .sw!!   The Wallpaper of Ikros

So Pawel and I were talking a few weeks ago, about the guy who was making the rendered mech desktop wallpapers, and thought there wasn't enough castle wallpaper out there. You have already seen the awesome pic that Pawel made, and now I'm ready to (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: shields

(...) Another dandy piece, if you don't mind a little cutting and pasting, can be made from the 2x2 round convex tiles. Cut a little length of shaft from anything you have handy and glue it to the back between the studs. [Ducking the bricks, (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: shields

(...) Couldn't you also take one of those 1x1 "taps" and put between the four studs on the backside? That would make an adequate handle, I suppose. Here's the tap: (URL) (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Hey Anthony! Glad to see you got them all up. My favorites are Show of Power, Into the Eyes of Fear and the Beast and I! I'm glad you made Into the Eyes of Fear! It's a cool shot and very well planned out! Excellent work all around!!! Matt (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: shields

(...) I used to use the tap to fix my round shields I have four that were broken when I was young. I just flipped the shield around and attached the tap to the stud on the shield. I now have taps glued to the backs of all my broken shields. John (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Ive used taps as well to mend shields. They do tend to sit a bit far away from the minifig's body though. Looks fine if you use them as ornamental shields James Stacey www.minifig.co.uk "John Carroll" <johnc@digitalacropolis.com> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 2-May-01, to lugnet.castle)
