Ooo... good survey!

I think it was around the time that the Pirates came out and we began seeing
figs with more than just smiles on their faces. I made a camp of elves
(loosely based on the Elf Quest graphic novels by Wendy and Richard Pini).
Before that, I don't recall making any 'custom' Castle figs.
> 2. Of your current characters, which did you build first? Last?
Beliwyr (my fig with the spiked armor) was first. My as yet unnamed paladin
was the last of the 5 I have at present.

I have all three, really. (and no, I'm not telling! <G>)
> 4. Have you ever built a MOC specifically for a pre-existing character?
Kinda. If the 'forest' scenery I've been using in my current story counts as
a full "MOC" and not scenery. Otherwise, not yet.

Hmm... the 5 I have now..plus a bunch still assembled from about 6-8 years
ago when I last had all my castle stuff going. I'm not really sure of the
exact count... maybe 15-20...?
> 6. Which Castle subtheme has the best figs?
I'd agree with you primarily - Knight's Kingdom. I really liked the studded
leather armor from the Dark Forest, and the scale mail armor from the Black
Monarch's Castle. The Fright Knight's torso's I used for Jedrik and Cromar
are also high on my list.. (what the heck do you call that little cross
thingy on that torso anyway??)
> 7. Is there a type of fig you find easy to make? A type you find difficult?
Hmm..It depends on inspiration. Knights are usually the hardest, though,
because after a while they just all start looking the same.. that's changing
now with all the printed legs/torso's and new helms with KK. Easiest..
probably peasants.. from past experiences.
> 8. Have you ever bought a set just for the figs?
Yep. Several times. Especially the $2 KK bagged set. Don't recall the set #.
> 9. Which non-Castle theme is the best source of Castle compatible figs?
I agree whole heartedly with you here as well - the Star Wars theme has some
wonderful torsos. And Capes. And New Hoods. And even accessories.. And..!
And..! :)

It varies. Sometimes it's quick, other times it takes some time.

Hmm.... can't think of any atm.

| Hi everybody. :-) I thought it would be fun to have a mini-fig survey. I had two different things in mind for this survey, so I used two different terms to better express what I was asking. A character is a fig that you have given a name, a (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-01, to lugnet.castle)
