I have to credit the Conan movies with its inspiration, actually. I can't
remember which movie it is.. Conan the Destroyer, I think, that has the bad
guy with similar armor. There was a marathon of the movies about 8 months
ago, and the gears began turning. Fortunately I have no other general use
for so many horns, so sacrificing 3 for the spikes wasn't as traumatic as
trying to modify the armor without ruining it. :)
