Well, the large Aquashark sub ("Shark's Crystal Cave") and the #2-sized Aquasharks
set are both still in stock at a KB ToyWorks here in NJ. The bad side? They're
still full price. (!!!) The Planetary Prowler I bought up at $10/ea from a local
Wal-Mart. But when it came to the 6097, well, I bit at $40--I needed the parts!
(Don't need the minifigs--anyone want to trade some wall pieces for some Castle
minifigs? I'm up to my eyeballs in Bat Lords!)

I think it's hideous. But for parts, it's a steal--especially if I can pawn off
the minifigs! Besides, I've never owned a LEGO cauldron...lots of frying pans and
glassware, but nary a stew pot in the lot.

I got a couple of those--also rather hideous, but also awesome for parts. One
day, I'll get all the silly and superfluous parts that I hate but others love, and
I'll have a big ol' virtual LEGO yard sale for the Castleheads and Townies. ;)

| (...) Shoot. I'm sad to hear you make this decision, since you said this key phrase in your other response: "It looks really neat ...." In my mind, you couldn't go wrong buying it, if you like the way it looks, as long as it doesn't mean you're (...) (25 years ago, 18-Nov-99, to lugnet.castle)
