And Ninja is not.  Wrong place, wrong time.

Same reason Wild West aren't Pirates imo, and as obvious to me.

Wild west has nothing to do with sailing ships or pirates, nor does Lego • claim
that it is part of the Pirates line.  If you are going to attempt a • parallel,
try Islanders, which was officially part of the Pirate line.

I'm not trying to attempt a parallel.  I know WW has nothing to do
with sailing ships or pirates.

You didn't understand what I tried to say.  WW is as much NOT
Pirates to me as Ninja is NOT Castle.

Ninja has castles, swords, armor, cavalry, etc.  Kind of seems REAL • obvious to
me.  It's just eastern as opposed to western.  That you don't care for it • is
fine.  That it is not directly compatible, and that bugs a lot of people, • I
understand.  But it is Castles.

It's a Castle subtheme because Lego says it is.  That doesn't change
the fact that it sucks and that it doesn't blow my skirt up.  Not
that I wear a skirt.

When did Lego make such an announcement.  As I recall, Ninja replaced
Castle, but it was never said it was (or was not) the same theme), and we
both kinda liked it.

For people who like the Ninja stuff - more power to 'em.  Buy all
the Ninja figs and such that I put up for auction - I'll use the
money to buy more traditional Castle sets.  The ones they're
bringing back after this little detour into Ninja land.  :)

I am glad they have brought back Castles.  When Ninja came out, we
weren't sure if Castle would ever return, were we?  I don't consider Ninja
to be a part of Castle, but whatever your viewpoint, its a rather silly
argument.
