Someone who is a fan of Akira Kurosawa's films might well enjoy the Ninja
theme.  Lego's target audience (i.e. kids) might.  I wouldn't think either
could inherently refered to as a "doofus".  Why is Fright Knights "real" • castle
and Ninja not?

Fright Knights sucked too.  Just less than Ninja.

Let me try again, why is Fright Knights "real" castle and Ninja not? • Whether
they both collectively suck or not is beside the point.

Because FK are firmly rooted in what I see when I fantasize about
Castle stuff, both in style of construction and "historical" period.
And Ninja is not.  Wrong place, wrong time.

Same reason Wild West aren't Pirates imo, and as obvious to me.

Wild west has nothing to do with sailing ships or pirates, nor does Lego claim
that it is part of the Pirates line.  If you are going to attempt a parallel,
try Islanders, which was officially part of the Pirate line.

Ninja has castles, swords, armor, cavalry, etc.  Kind of seems REAL obvious to
me.  It's just eastern as opposed to western.  That you don't care for it is
fine.  That it is not directly compatible, and that bugs a lot of people, I
understand.  But it is Castles.

Never mind US we're just Anglo Saxon, or European, or Celtic Barbarian's! If
things aren't our way..... We make them OUR way! So take no offence when we
think OUR way is always right! hehe :)
