Lego Direct means Ice Dragons (oh please oh please oh please)

I'm sure everyone knows about Brad's announcement for Lego Direct, so I won't get into that. I just hope that they open it up to more than 40 elements. Ever since I saw the dragons in '94(?), I've wanted a white dragon w/ trans. light blue wings and (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Wooden guard barracks

I've finally built the first part of my castle complex! I started simple with a wooden castle guard barracks. It is up against the exterior curtain wall (well, its against a fake piece of the curtain wall). I've also redone my Lego pages, getting (...) Chris' main point was: (...) Can't help you with the trans lt blue stuff... I know some people will resent me saying this... but Craig once made a great white dragon using designers spray paint. It was beautiful (or so he says) but he wanted a red (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Knight's armor

As much as I would love to see the return of the European Armor, Or even the silver armor from the imperial armada, I just don't see it happening. If they were going to start using it again why not include it with the Royal Joust (6095)? If you give (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.castle)

Re: Cut off the dying vine (or Rock Monster clan)

(...) True. Every set has too many specialty pieces, and they can't be easily integrated into other themes. Plus, the price:piece ratio is too expensive. I'd buy a few of the sets, IF they went on extreme clearance. Of course, that would only be for (...) (24 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.underground, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wooden guard barracks

Hey Chris! Great job, I love those barracks! I'm not sure what you mean by curtain wall, I'm not familiar with that term. Can you explain what that is? I absolutely adore your attention to interior details. I'm a goner for interior (1) and your's is (...) (24 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

This is where the interior spaces lie. However, in a larger castle, the (...) (24 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Wooden guard barracks

(...) Thanks - praise helps build confidence for the next project! (...) I think I first saw the idea in a newsgroup posting. I wanted to do a green one, but I was missing half; red and yellow are the only transparent colours I have both cylinders (...) (24 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle)

  6075 yellow castle stickers...

To all fellow enthusiasts, Is there anyone out there who might have either an intact sticker sheet or the acutal figures that can be scanned and posted? I'm looking for hi resolution images because I have many "blank" shields and armor pieces but (...) (24 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Eastern Invasion (II) continues ...

This is part 2 of my Eastern Invasion featuring Kumamoto Castle MOC interiors of which I posted the exteriors last week. As promised last week, I am posting the interiors of Kumamoto Castle MOC - (URL) a week to finish but a last minute ebay auction (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build) !

Re: Eastern Invasion (II) continues ...

(...) I'd like to comment on the way you organized the pictures; I think that was brilliant. The order in which the pictures are made it fairly clear (to me) what part of the building belonged where.   Possible answer to the Bird question!!!

I'm waiting for Lindsey to get back to me, he's got pics of the (I can't spell it nor do I care to try!) flying bird... we might find out soon if it's got holes on the bottom!! if he doesn't post here and just mails me about it, I'll post it right (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Old LEGO

I have new info regarding the "first LEGO Castle". On my webpage, I have pictured (1) what I had considered to be the first LEGO Castle, pictured in an ancient Model Book (it's not a catalog). However, I found a picture today of a LEGO Castle prior (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

Re: Eastern Invasion (II) continues ...

(...) Very nice! I like the fact that the structure makes sense as a physical structure (probably because its a model of a real one!). I also like the good use of modularity, so that everything can be examined and moved. The exterior is a good model (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: Old LEGO

(...) Thanks ! Took a little planning but it was well worthwhile. (...) I did try to make the interiors somewhat historically accurate. For instance, the main donjon did not have living quarters. However, typical rooms/elements include the kitchen, (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Thanks for your comments! It was fun doing the pictures this way ! (...) That is my son who is exactly one and a half years old yesterday. Of course he I am training him to be a "legomaniac" when he grows up. KK (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

The Goose that layed the Lego egg...

We're in the midst of Easter Egg hunting at my house, with all my relatives here. Right now it's my turn to find them, and I'm waiting for them to be hid. Anyway, this morning I woke up, walked out to the living room, and saw it. My parents bought (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

Re: Possible answer to the Bird question!!!

Yes it does!!!! 2x2, and he says the wings don't get in the way of putting it flat on a baseplate or plate either! Now it's just the chore of getting a couple... has anyone created a list of the sets they'll be available in yet? Tamy (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)
