    Favorite castles? —Shiri Dori
Now here's something to ponder... What's your favorite castle set made by TLC (no MOCs Please :-)? And please explain *why*. I'm really interested. I don't have enough castle sets to judge, and I want to know what everyone thinks. I'd really rather (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

        Re: Favorite castles? —Jonathan Wilson
(...) I like 6073. Probobly because it was the only castle I ever had. I accually made in ldraw a tavern in the spirit of 6073. (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Favorite castles? —John Robert Blaze Kanehl
(...) Tough question because I have different criteria... My sentimental all time favorite: The Yellow Castle was my first and was very expandable...at the time the Yellow Castle came out gray was scarce in non space sets, and the yellow 1x4 hinge (...) Well, I guess my favorite CASTLE-castle is 6081 (followed closely by 6077). The reasons why I like this castle the best are (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

        Re: Favorite castles? —Cale Leiphart
(...) It would have to be 6085. The Black Monarch's Castle was the first castle i received as a kid. The sentimental value alone makes it my favorite. But on top of that i realy like the design, it has a nice selection of figs, and the Black (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

        Re: Favorite castles? —Kevin Salm
(...) Okay, I missed participating in your survey that began in February, but I will answer now. First off, I have nearly every Castle set ever released. Of those that I am missing, 6062, 6041, and 6035 are highest on my wish list now. Since I own (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

Oh, BTW, I messed up my acronym usage a bit. BURP should be spelled CRAPP in my previous post. Don't know how I confused that, they are clearly different things. __Kevin Salm__ (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

A common problem? (was:Re: Favorite castles?) —James Howse

(...) Have you also got the Bellville turkey and the Bellville ice cream elements? __Kevin Salm__ (25 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: A common problem? (was:Re: Favorite castles?) —Shiri Dori
(...) Oh, I do. I also have lots of SPUDs which taste really bad. But I don't normally BURP much, if the food went bad I often PEWC. -Shiri (xpost to .pun) (25 years ago, 7-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.off-topic.pun)

Re: A common problem? (was:Re: Favorite castles?) —Kevin Salm
(...) Okay, I am not the Acronym expert you are--you lost me with SPUDs and PEWC. I will make my way over to the FAQ so that I can read your updated Acronym Dictionary. __Kevin Salm__ (25 years ago, 8-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

        Re: Favorite castles? —Ed Jones
(...) I'd have to say 6086, because of the design, very good, and some of the elements, the yellow tudor wall pieces among others. My biggest complaint about all of the Castle sets is that they are all facades, very good exteriors with nothing on (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

        Re: Favorite castles? —David Eaton
     (...) Well, I think there are 11 "castle"s you might mean: 6075 Castle (classic yellow castle) 6080 King's Castle 6073 Knight's Castle 6074 Black Falcon's Fortress 6085 Black Monarch's Castle 6081 King's Mountain Fortress 6086 Black Knight's Castle (...)         Re: Favorite castles? —Jeff Stembel
(...) I'd have to say 6080 King's Castle. I have wanted it since I was five years old, and it is on my list of "must haves". I think I like it because it reminds me of real castles more than any other. :) It is closely followed by 6081. It was the (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

        Re: Favorite castles? —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Now that I have YC, it's my favorite. It's made of sandstone, and it has lots of troops. Not just heroes, but regular guys. And I think it has high playabilty, and parts you can't get anywhere else. Plus I just like the way it looks. Those big (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

        Re: Favorite castles? —Rob Drechsel
(...) This isn't really a castle , but was a castle like building, the 6071 Forestmens Crossing. I liked it because it came with some weird (to me) pieces, like the bridge and the brown ladder. I was also six years old. Rob (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

        Re: Favorite castles? —Shiri Dori
(...) Hehe, I just got this set today! Gotta admit I love it, the minifigs are really good (wench! Green w/black-armored torso!) The bridge is great (my first!) and the baseplate is even better. I know have two of these BPs and they hook together (...) (25 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)
