    My latest monsterpiece... —James Brown
   (wow, I feel inadequate posting this on the heels of Dan's Bloodstone Keep, but I was gonna do this tonight anyway...) I've put up a set of temporary pics of my latest fortress, the Mercenary HQ. There are still a few details to complete, but it's (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle) !

     Ah can't believe ah missed this! Sorry! Your mercenary HQ is really cool! I love the intricate interior details (I mentioned a few times that interiors are my faves, many times over!) and the terrain effects. The size is quite large as well, (...) (hint hint) The kitchen looks even better with the fires under the kettle and in the stove flickering merrily, but I haven't been able to get a decent pic of it. :/ And stories are (...)      James,your castle is fantastic! I particularly loved the details: The cascading waterfall feeding the moat, the bunkbeds, the weapons racks, etc. Loved it!     You did a great job! The picture of the front of the HQ is very impressive. The way the keep is built into the mountains is great. The waterfall looks wonderful. I really like all the details in the interiors of the structures. The design and (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)

That was one of the "limits" I placed on myself in building - I laid down the first couple layers of mountain (about 2 BURPs worth) before starting any buildings, and I made myself build to fit.
