  Re: Orc Wolf Rider

(...) When I read all that I was beginning to believe the wolf was just a big gray box (easy to mass produce, few uncommon parts). So I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this. (...) I must say you succeeded on all accounts; it looks good and is (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Who says nobody builds ships?

(...) Nice work. The colour scheme is great, and the extended oars really look the part. To be pedantic, triangular foresails are not particularly castle-ish. Also, you can avoid fabric sails fraying if you glue along the cutting line (PVA glue is (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: johny come lately

Hello! (...) Ehm.. no. I'd like to see some NEW and GOOD Castle sets rather than good but OLD ones. I know, they CAN make good sets, so I hope they do not make a new Castle line like this awful Knights Kingdom series. Better none Castle line at all (...)   Who says nobody builds ships?

Hello hello! My name is Benjamin Harris and I'm a new poster here. I've been lurking for several years now, but I finally decided to work up the courage to share a couple of my creations with the folks here at Lugnet. Anyway, since both creations (...) (...) Hey Felix, Welcome from another castle/aquazoner... But I think you've been to our humble realm before. I seem to remember a nice village a while ago... Anyway reinforcements are always welcome and I'm sure you'll add a lot. Nathan (21 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Some older MOCs

(...) I like the village, though not the castle. (If you run out of bricks you run out of bricks.) There are a lot of great details in it like the ramp and garden. I especially like the flags/banner : ) What bricks did you use on the red and yellow (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) Wow, that looks great! I may have to try something similar if I build wargs (I think thats the spelling..) for my LOTR setup. Reed Anderson (21 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Orc Wolf Rider

Over the passed few weeks, Lenny and I (along with several others) have been discussing different Orcish paraphernalia. And something of want was a large wolf for the Orcs to ride, as EVERYONE(1) knows that Orcs ride wolves into battle, not horses. (...)   Re: johny come lately

(...) My impression (from Jake posting here and at FBTB and from the transcripts of the Q&A's at Brickfest and Brickswest) is that there will not be a new Castle line released as long as the HP license is in effect (and there will not be a new Space (...)   Re: Farm Animals

The bull (ox?) is awesome, those chickens are cool, and the donkey is friggin' unbelievable! Those are some really inspired uses of the pieces indeed! I'm tempted to make a mercado scene just to use those chickens. -Stefan- (21 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Farm Animals

Reed, Those are really great. I can't wait to get home and try to build some of those chickens... and the Ox horns are really inspired.   Re: Church MOC

The interior is even better than the exterior. Very nice work! I think the way you used the plates on the roof is better than anything you could have done with slopes, even if you had plenty of them. So, what's in the cupboard? (21 years ago, 16-Jul-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
