  Re: CastleQuest draws ever nearer..!

(...) How soon can the community expect the release of castle quest? A few days? A week perhaps? Sorry I didn't reply to this earlier, but the cold struck me off course this week. (...) Two weeks then? (I'm hoping I was accurate there). Well, can't (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

My wife's Lord of the Rings Mini Figures

I don't follow Lord of the Rings topics much, and less in the brick-form; my apologies. But, I want to share that my wife does, and she has made a rare foray into building due to LotR. She has made the following figs from bits and parts from my (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Livestock

(...) Anthony, thanks for these pics and links. It is especially useful for newer members of the community to be reminded that these helpful ideas are out there. I personally have been using Franklin Cain's cow and ox designs for about a year now, (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New MOCs, random castle stuff I built

(...) As far as zipping pics goes, i dont know how, and i dont really care, since for my purposes i only put up a pic or two a month or something. plus, they are nothing you would be interested, .castlers, because they are bionicle. but, back to (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: CastleQuest draws ever nearer..!

(...) I'm sorry, but I'd feel very bad if I didn't clear this up. With the exception to my chicken (and perhaps the chicks) and new beefy cow designs, I did not come up with my livestock designs. The best I did to them is bring them back into the (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Original yellow castle redone

Hi all, Just thought I would share a rebuild of the yellow casthe in green and gray. the only thing that is off is I don't have that many arches. (URL) me know what you think of it. Thanks, Spencer (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Where's the Beef?

(...) Udderly nice. Hey, have you maybe tried using the 2x3 inverse slope for the head. Rev.Powell uses it (see the Joseph stories), and the inverse slope works really well because of those little slits for the peg make it look kinda like eyes. (...)   Where's the Beef?

(...) I'll admit they're pretty thin. So I decided to beef them up. I started with the design that I used, Franklin Cain's bovine design (credit where credit is due): (URL) spent an hour on the hoof, grazing through my parts stock. After bullying (...)   CastleQuest draws ever nearer..!

I spent most of the morning and have gotten a quarter of the re-writing of the rules for CQ done. I have expanded on it a little, added to the exploring and settlement area of it, and must congratulate Anthony Sava for provideing Livestock. Now, i (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Livestock

I figured that if I'm going to get serious into this whole village thing, my people are gonna need to eat and sustain themselves. So thus, I began looking around LUGNET for livestock ideas. I found many designs for many animals, and though I'd love (...) (22 years ago, 27-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

New MOCs, random castle stuff I built

Here are some things I've been sitting on, I finally got around to taking pics and uploading them. I've been working on a demon of sorts and I had one semi finished and then sorta rebuilt it, it looks nothing like the finished product, I should of (...)   Re: The Village of Dahyart

(...) Thanks much! Those are great ideas. Before I read your post I was torn between leaving the village as is or scrapping it to have it encircle the tower. But with changing their relative positions, I think it'd make the village look much better. (...) (22 years ago, 27-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Village of Dahyart

(...) Thanks much! Though I don't think I'd feel right about mixing his village with my own. His has much more detail in the buildings as I have, as my buildings are nothing more than facades. Thanks for the reply! --Anthony (22 years ago, 27-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Village of Dahyart

(...) Thanks much! (...) Soon, very soon. (...) I couldn't tell you which chapter the city will be making it's debut, as that would be giving away too much. But I can say that you won't have to wait all that long to see it again. And thanks for the (...) (22 years ago, 27-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Village of Dahyart

(...) Thanks much. I had almost given up on the idea of building a village, leaving the tower by itself, but I'm glad I followed through. (...) Not as interesting as they could be... Since I only create MOCs for my stories, what could be really (...) (22 years ago, 27-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: The Village of Dahyart

In lugnet.castle, George Haberberger writes: <SNIP> (...) The rest of the pictures will come when the village is finalized. I still haven't decided on whether or not to leave it alone. I have several other designs in mind that I haven't tried yet. (...) (22 years ago, 27-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Elven Home pics

I probably should have done this sooner, but here's a "tour" of the pics: 8c.jpg front view 8d 3/4 view. If you look closely, you can see the grren arched doors to the lower level. 20 rear view (That's a stylized stags' head on the central pillar. (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.castle)
