Hi Jeremiah,

I really like what you have done here in such a small space.
Lots of detail put together in  a believeable way.
Other points I like -
The way it hinges from the outside of the stairwell, totally unexpected
and kinda cool
the overhang of the stairwell itself, I love the way that works

I can't really take credit for the stair overhang, since it was in the
picture I based the cottage on. The hinge thing was mine though - a bit of
inspiration can really give a model a defining feature.

is that a coal box of some kind outside the front door. It made me scratch
my head at first as the colour and shape made it look a bit like a modern
wheelie bin to me :)

I hadn't even noticed that :) Nope, it's just a regular brown barrel that
didn't photograph well. I'm not quite sure what it's there for, other than
my odd obsession with wooden barrels.

I really like the colour scheme too. Is that the new light yellow you have
used for the top half of the house. I have a load of that colour I got from
the new Lego store in Milton Keynes (UK) and have been thinking since I got
them how it'd be a good colour for building tudor beamed houses with

No, it's just regular old tan, although I agree that the light yellow
would make for a nice daub color. Hmmm...

thanks for sharing...
