  Teaser of my latest keep

Hi all, Here is a teaser of my new keep ((URL) It's not finished yet. All the floors are modulable and I can add or remove one as I want. I have to furnish the interior and complete the landscape but the major ideas are here and I cannot wait before (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

Microscale Castle to be posted shortly...

Hi. I have begun building a microscale castle. It will have 3 alternating "looks" or levels (a beginner, intermediate, and advanced) for both the keep and for the surrounding curtain wall. Being pressed for time, and about to get kicked off the (...) (21 years ago, 27-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Just to add to this... I remember reading somewhere that you can create and import your own peices into TD, I believe one of the Monlug guys did this once. Jeff VW (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: The Classic Castle City Standard

(...) The inner walls can be made just the same as the outer walls, using the same format. Just raise the height 4 to 6 bricks. I prefer not to use the castle wall sections on the outer walls anyway. But on the raised inner walls, would make sense. (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

They also embraced certain aspects of contemporary music and videoclip culture, such as (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Classic Castle City Standard

(...) It sounds to me like there may need to be a piece of software created that allows castle/moonbase display coordinators to plan layouts. Much like TrackDesigner helps Train clubs design their layouts in advance. Great progress on the standard, (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Anthony, Wow, pretty neat, I like the terrain you've modeled, and the little river. I can't wait to see the inside. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

There could even be "in-process" walls, where little minifigs are constructing/repairing the wall. Either way, someone would need to (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Something I saw in bricklink from Thomas Rafert

Hello! This gallery has it all: castles, villages, harbours, churches, rivers, woods, ships, tournaments, peasants, knights, vikings, sheep, battles, orchards, fairies... Great layout! Bye Jojo (URL) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Royal Hunting Retreat MOC

Hi Travis! Different. Weird. Still nice. Interesting designs. I like the way you avoided the common use of these castle wall parts. Like other people said before your building looks very remote, deep in the woods, not exactly "royal", at least not (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: keep them posts coming!!!!

(...) I guess there is a quality vs quantity issue. As far as quality goes, and I'm not really trying to make this into a "urination contest" between the two themes, both themes have put out some really great models lately and the discussion has (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

Hey Anthony, your scenery is gonna look great. It already does! I always like irregular/asymmetrical forms of buildings better than symmetrical ones. Hey. I noticed that for the week we are in third place!! That's the good news. The bad news is that Lugnet.Castle is far behind Lugnet.Space (and the spacers yell "SPACE" in a loud obnoxious but unified voice) by a good margin. Ben (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)
