  Re: The NEW Castle World!

(...) Here's another thought - Have any of you tried the links on the CW pages lately? Most of them don't work. Maybe there should be a new CW. Jeff (long time Castle reader - dreams of laying seige to the moonbase next Brickfest)...oh, and small (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: The NEW Castle World!

Hi all, Just a thought I was having, but if we could tweak the original logo a little bit. Maybe alter the colors or something minimal like that. This way it would still hearken back to the original (to keep with tradition and all that) but would (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: The NEW Castle World!

(...) The "button" is only for others to link to Castle World, as on the sidebar for this newsgroup. Everything else is up for discussion/grabs. It's only the link buttons I wanted to retain as a nod to the old CW. Just to be sure of what I am (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: The NEW Castle World!

(...) No no, please don't misunderstand me. I'm perfectly happy with keeping an archive of the old CW. Like I said, it's healthy to look back at the past and what others have done. (...) I don't object to Craig's artwork, and in fact would be (...) (21 years ago, 15-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: The NEW Castle World!

Although I am not an especially prominent member on Lugnet, I would like to state that a new Castle World would be something I would full-heartedly support! Whatever may come of this discussion, I would be willing to help the new site in any way I (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: The NEW Castle World!

Do you object to maintaining the archive as a completely separate link from the new site? If yes, why should it disappear? Just because people are now long absent, doesn't mean that their existing contributions aren't worth preserving in some way. I (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: The NEW Castle World!

(...) I have no problem with the idea of keeping the old website in tact, but all it is at the moment is a museum for the days gone by anyway. (...) I mean no disrespect, and I'm sure that Craig is a great artist, but so what? IOM never revealed (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, FTX)

  Re: BF Dragons

(...) Was probably a bit hard to get all of 'em into one shot, but IIRC there were about 16 dragon-type things in the room? (3 of them being 1-piece 'dragons'). I counted: Joe Comeau (6 dragons) (URL) Eaton (2 dragons, 2 POOP dragons, 1 baby T-Rex (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.castle)

  cute Brickfest story...

Hi. I was in the castle room, and keeping a close eye on the kids in there while some of the other participants were doing stuff elsewhere. There was a boy, who was probably between 5 and 8. (Didn't find out exactly how old he was), and when he saw (...) (21 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.people, lugnet.castle)
