Re: The Village of Dahyart version 2.0

(...) Hello Antony, That is just the sort of organic fuzzyness I had in mind when i made the suggestion. You did it very well. On top of this, the added vegetation and details largely contribute to the improvement as well. I'm pleased that you took (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

A few scenes from east Allercus

Hello, Well, after experimenting with another batch of parts from bricklink, I built a small village module. (Unfortunately, it's about 1.5 times larger than MM standard. 24x24) Here's the gallery. (URL) some more description behind the pictures. (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Question on the IOM

(...) I don't think IOM could exist cocurrent with CQ. Since the two game styles are going to be so different, it would add too much confusion and plus the initial failure of IOM suggests that it probably wont stand up to another run. I think it is (...)   Re: The Village of Dahyart version 2.0

(...) the livestock, the well and the offsetting of buildings really makes a huge difference. My favorite is the little blacksmith shop in the dtail shot. My only problem seemed to be the buildings being so close to the tower. The pillars are (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

  battle for sirob

Heres a nice little battle between all my castle figs. (URL) Lord Beckett and his royal army do a number on the citizens of Sirob. I was able to add a bunch of new figs since my bricklink order came in, specifically the Shaoman warriors (neato (...) (22 years ago, 5-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Question on the IOM

(...) i, personally, was trying to think how to fit the IOM into Castlequest. CQ has its base in gaming, but it is meant to be like the iom, and castleworld. live long enough, you can have your very own city which you are gamemaster of. however, i (...)   Re: The Village of Dahyart version 2.0

(...) Thanks much! Glad you enjoyed it so much. It was a lot of fun putting all the detail into my MOC, which I now realize I had not put much pride into. Offsetting the buildings were a challenge though, since they're not on plates and they don't (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Village of Dahyart version 2.0

(...) Thanks much! That was the look I was aiming for. (...) Yup! I'm glad someone was able to recognize it for what it was, or at least what I meant it to be. (...) Yeah, the original Tower of Olyian was built upon a large expanse of plain (...) (22 years ago, 4-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

  LEGO Wars renamed!

  Re: Question on the IOM

(...) I joined IOM at about the same time that it died down, so my character is not even posted on the website. I think this project needs not only more people but more webmasters who can stand the "long-termity" of the project. Personally, if IOM (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: The Village of Dahyart version 2.0

Wow Anthony! Talk about a step up.. this is really a great update to the village. The main street, with offset buildings and small "alley-ways".. this really has that medieval look. I was thinking the other day of doing a new village, but I always (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Underneath the castle

(...) Just like your previous chapters, the description was almost an adventure in itself. (Did you purposely change the lighting conditions a bit dark to reflect the chamber's obscurity?) The detailing of the chamber was nicely done as well. (...) (22 years ago, 3-Mar-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Medieval Village Mocs and a Centaur Army

The Village of Dahyart version 2.0

After reading the very helpful constructive criticism I recieved, and after reviewing my recent village MOC, I decided to redesign it. So... I did.
