  Re: Joust for joy

Very nice Yaron! I was glad to see that I am not the only person to use the gray goalie shirt for armor. Way to go! Your black knight is cool as well. I hadn't thought of using the blacktron torso for a knight, very creative. Darth Maul makes a (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Joust for joy

(...) Great job Yaron! The joust is great and the Black Knight is awesome. How long did it take you to build the grandstands for the joust? Hasta La Vista, Sean (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Allow me to introduce, myself. Welcome to my world.

(...) Well, looks interesting already. I'm currently working on a story as well, but it's more of a fantasy/ sci-fi oriented novella, and won't be finished for quite a while. I haven't applied for an OzBricks site yet, but I'm sure you'll probably (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: They changed the flag

(...) Wow both of your flags look great! I looked at mine today and it's printed poorly: (URL) is uncommon for pieces made in the 80s... -Bryan (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.castle)

  Re: ...and the minifigs

(...) I'd guess they had the more triangular pattern in the computer (from 10000) and just popped it on the flag and torso without noticing the difference. -- TWS Garrison (URL) capital letters in address for direct reply. (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Allow me to introduce, myself. Welcome to my world.

Great job Erick, Can't wait to see the story come out. Looks like it'll be great! Great models too. Hasta La Vista, Sean P.S Is it going to be posted completed or are you going to post little by little? (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Chris Lindsey to the Rescue! (was Re: Update on new CW Site)

(...) Hey, I finally found what I think is a tolerably solid windows tool that does the same thing. It's called HTTrack Website Copier, find it at: (URL) achieve good results I found that one has to get into the options, and in particular one *must* (...)   Re: ...and the minifigs

(...) The new one is on the left, yes? The old one is therefore to the right... If I understand this correctly, I actually like this change. It's hard to imagine why they decided to make the alteration though...the only thing I can guess is that the (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.castle)

  ...and the minifigs

Hello again.... They also changed the emblem on the minifigs' torsos to the new shape: (URL) so... Bye Jojo (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Gothic

Hallo! Great work Jojo! The level of detail is fantastic. I like the detail in the columns, it looks like you used 1x2 hinged bricks to create the half-columns along the main column. I also noticed that you built the stain glassed window sideways! (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Black Falcon's Fortress is back!

(...) This is the set I selected during the voting so you can imagine that I am well pleased at this turn of events. I'll probably buy several of these sets just as I did of the GI -- actually, I may buy even more of this set because it includes (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Gothic

(...) I was counting hinge bricks and there are like 60 in that one column. (!) Beautiful creation. I love how the long vertical lines give you a sense of a huge space. I'd like to see photos from a wider angle just to see how you constructed this. (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

  They changed the flag

Hello again! Beseides the light grey swords they made another important variance in the 10039 compared to the original 6074. The Black Falcon emblem on the legendary (because almost always broken if recieved in used condition) flag has a slightly (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.castle)

Re: Fellowship of the Rings movie poster

(...) Thanks. I spent a lot of time trying to get the sizes and relative placement of things to match the movie poster. I also really struggled with the logo at the bottom. I thought about just cutting it from the original poster and pasting it onto (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.castle)

  Re: historical accuracy re. factions

(...) It all depends on the society in question. There were national preferences on weapons, in part from tradition, in part from imposition from on high (as in further up the feudal ladder). Over time, the English gravitated towards the longbow and (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Gothic

(...) Great Movie! Becket as Machiavelli. Great MOC too. Nice use of the mosaic plates. There's one grey detail at the base of the arches -- I can't quite make out what that element is but I suspect it's technic. The element in question looks almost (...)   Re: Fellowship of the Rings movie poster

Really Cool Bruce! I love the work you've put into this. I like how everyone in the shot is mirroring their pose from the poster! Galadriel is my favorite! Good luck in the contest! Jon (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.castle)
