| | Rendering Problem
|
| I'm hoping someone can help me with this problem. I have a model that I'm trying to render in POV-Ray. I built it in MLCad and use L3PAO to convert it to a POV file, using LGEO parts whenever possible. Somewhere along the line, this part: (URL) (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

| I've had this problem with some parts and some defined but missing parts (90.dat for example) what I've done to fix it is when I find a missing or wrong lgeo part I copy the ldraw part file and rename it to something like 90nolgeo.dat so that I can (...) | I have the most recent LGEO files so that wasn't the problem. I'm sure your suggestion about hacking the POV-Ray code would work but George's solution was much simpler. Thanks guys, Will Bricksburg Fire Department: (URL) Bricksburg Depot: (URL) (23 years ago, 15-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

|
| Hello, I've been using ML-Cad, L3P, L3PAO, and Pov Ray for a while now, and I've been wondering what the best way is to render minifig heads and/or helmets. I've seen some beautiful renderings out there, with wonderful ROUND heads, but I haven't (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

| Ed or Eduardo? Thanks! I don't think there is any standard for that animation. I just wanted to create something with a higher aspect ratio then the standard 4x3 or 1.33 for a bit of widescreen look. So I choose a nice 1.66 ratio using 800x480. A (...) | Help! I use the POV-Ray Windows interface for rendering .pov files. As far as I can tell, the largest image I can render is 1280x1024. Is there a way to render larger? Thanks! Jake --- Jake McKee AFOL LUGNET Member #211 (23 years ago, 13-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)
