Glad to see someone using it!  Did you play with the number of lanes or
removing the barrier, adding a median, etc, at all?

Yup.  very cool.

Try adding a rotate command to your object:
object { lowrider_dot_dat rotate x*5 }
The 5 is in degrees.  Play with the value until it's about right.  You might
also have to translate the model up or down a bit so it sits on the road
correctly.
Wadda ya know.  5 degrees worked great!

Did you use put_car to place the jet too?

Yup lane 3, 50 units away, and 300 as the lower bound.
now that i know the rotation statements, ill see how some bank on the bird
looks :)

I just got done playing with the rotations, and Ill have a fully rendered one
in about 2 hours or so.  Maybe sooner, since im not using the trees now.
(dont want to crash the plane!)

Something that will help people that d0 not know how to include thier pov
models into another one:

All I did to get the *.inc files of the models was get rid of any lights and
camera angles from the original pov file (as well as the statements actually
drawing the model).  I did not know this until i saw after three models,
things started to get really washed out from all the light sources, plus there
were twins of the objects.

(...) I'm glad I discovered macros--makes it much easier to place objects like that. (...) You can do rotations about all three axes at once like this: rotate <10,-20,30> which (AFAIK) is equivalent to: rotate x*10 rotate y*-20 rotate z*30 (...) (...) (24 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)
