Hi everyone, I just started some experiments with povray and .hdr-files. You can see some of the results in my brickshelf gallery: (2 URLs) Calculation of such pictures is much faster than with the radiosity includes from digitalbricks and others. (...) At the moment nearly all pov-ray animations are cyclic and shorter than 10 secs. My idea: A short sketch/movie (~1.5min) or a music-video may be a revolution and may also wake up more enthusiasts, who start to animate too. Such a project requires 2 (...) Well... 8 years ago I didn't own enough parts to build it... Now I do! (virtually, but who cares?) The Facts: -20 Frames 640x480 packed in flashanimation -5 hours and 6 pages (A4) for the trigonometric equations -I used Ldraw for designing and (...) I'm working on some code to do this now : ) It's an extension of a utility I wrote a week ago that takes an Ldraw file and parses all the submodels and parts to give one a list of the pieces needed to build it. This new version just parses things (...) (21 years ago, 7-Mar-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)
