(...) Doesn't POVray do this inately? After all, at some point POVray has to decide which information it will display, and which information it will not display. Here's a first working version of what I was thinking about: (URL) *.box files have to be in the P, Parts, Models, or LDraw BaseDirectory. The boxes.lst file has to be in the LDraw BaseDirectory. I recently got an old version of lightwave (5.6) running. I used a ldraw to lightwave conversion utility and made this little test rendering. The file features a flyby by one of my microfig space ships in a star field. Its 1141KB so if your (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space)

Hi, I'm trying to render an orthographic image that looks nice using POVray. I've followed Bram L.'s recommendations. They are: 1) Uncomment the "orthographic" keyword in the camera {} block. This will get rid of the perspective in the images (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

I geuss it depends on how you look at it, and what you're looking from, ie, the master/creator (you) and the apprentice/awe struck wanna-be (me). The rest looked (...) The only thing though, the cockpit really didn't seem to fit in, maybe that's you wrecked it, I destroyed a mescherschmidt the other day in a fit (...) Yeah I've seen a ton of guns using the technic pulleys and axels. Actually the mini-gun idea is Terry Keller's design: (URL) ammunition belt is my own idea. I used it here too: (URL) have even more ideas on how to create mini-guns and clips, just hold on... Hey thats a great idea for the minigun. Thats one of the best miniguns I've ever seen. I love all the clips you have lined up on the chain.
